Step 1: On your profile page, tap the menu (three dots).
Step 2: In the search bar, type “deactivation” and select the “Deactivation or deletion” option.
Step 3: Choose the account you want to deactivate.
Step 4: Select the “Deactivate account” option and tap Continue.
Step 5: Enter your password and tap Continue.
Step 6: Choose a reason for deactivating your Instagram account and tap Continue.
Step 7: Tap Continue again.
Step 8: Finally, tap the “Deactivate account” button.
